Records written
- Jared Thompson demands margin-interest reimbursement; Jamar escalates to Derek in writing — Jamar Anderson, Jared Thompson, Derek Eichenwald — a second client household asks the Firm to pay for its own response delay; thread runs back to 2026-08-28 and Derek's written answers are overdue since 2026-09-01.
- Jamar asks JT how to document client follow-ups that are waiting on Derek — Jamar Anderson — a direct, unanswered ask of Compliance for a documented process, sent 46 minutes after the Thompson escalation and explicitly tied to "recent client escalations."
Profiles touched
- Jared Thompson: created (clients tier, IAR Derek). Full profile from the email thread; tier not confirmed by JT.
- Jamar Anderson: Snapshot rewritten; new bullets in Focused on (2), Asking me for, Concerns (2), Doable, How to work with them (2), Crossover (2); two Meeting log rows; header dates advanced.
- Derek Eichenwald: Snapshot line added for the Thompson matter; Crossover bullet; Meeting log row; header date advanced.
- Rheece Hilliard: Snapshot line and first-ever Concerns and Crossover bullets — raised on his behalf by Jamar, not by him.

New people, confirm tier
- Jared Thompson (wanderingjed@gmail.com) → created in
clients/Thompson-Jared. Placed in clients because he is Derek's advisory client with an Individual account under management, but the sweep did not ask and the tier is unconfirmed. His address is personal, not a firm domain, so the defaultexternalrule would have put him elsewhere; the clients placement is a judgement call for JT to confirm.

Needs JT
- The Thompson reimbursement demand has no Firm position. A client asked in writing on 2026-09-04 whether Triumph will reimburse margin interest accruing during the Firm's delay. That is a money claim against the Firm arising from its own service failure. It needs to be assessed against the complaint definition and put in front of Brandon as CCO. Nobody has done either.
- Two reimbursement demands in four days is a pattern. Zakir (fees) and Thompson (margin interest) share a mechanism, not a subject: the client asked in writing, was told a response was coming, did not get one, and then asked for money. Worth raising with Brandon as one item rather than two.
- Derek's written answers to Thompson are overdue since 2026-09-01 and a date Jamar relayed to the client on 2026-09-03 was missed. The client is now nine days from his first email.
- Jamar's documentation-process question is unanswered. He asked Compliance directly, in writing, before an incident. A thin answer discourages exactly the behavior the Manual wants. Target 2026-09-09.
- Rheece Hilliard is affected but was not on the email. Whatever process JT defines has to reach him.
- A Zoom recording may exist for Derek and Jared Thompson, 2026-08-19 16.26.30 (Box folder id 410325937440), predating the margin balance. Not reviewed by this sweep — outside the window — but it may hold the discussion of the leveraged positions.
- Still open from prior sweeps: the CCO's promised direct contact with the Zakirs (unfulfilled since Derek committed to it in writing on 2026-09-03); the untranscribed 2026-09-04 09:30 Zoom, whose Box folder still holds only a chat file and is again deliberately left out of the seen-set; the Supabase invite, blocked on removing Tim Gelling's seat.
Errors
- The Teams scan reported a Microsoft Graph 429 rate limit on both attempts, covering 49 of 50 chats on the first pass and 45 of 50 on the second. Both passes returned zero messages in the window, so the two runs agree and Teams was almost certainly quiet — but coverage was not complete either time. This is the same recurring limitation noted in the 2026-09-05 digest.
