Message bodies converted from HTML to plain text; times in ET. --- **JT — 8:08 AM ET** Put together a starter pack you can poke at. Glance at the .md files first if you end up using it. Will save you time and frustration. Might need some further tooling, but good base, I think this is what you looking for yesterday. Box\TCM Firm File\TCM Firm File - Derek Eichenwald\Reports & Resources\Client File Atlas --- **JT — 8:11 AM ET** I'm going to go into Supabase here in a few minutes and take a look. --- **Derek N. Eichenwald — 8:12 AM ET** (attachment: 2026-tax-master-workbook-final.xlsx) **1. THE ZAKIRS — FEE HISTORY AND CALCULATION** Please take another look at the Zakirs' accounts and help me reconstruct the complete fee timeline. My understanding is as follows: - While the Ascent Group DB Plan was in place, the DB Plan and the related 401(k) accounts were billed at 2.00%. - At some point, the DB Plan terminated and its assets were distributed into their two 401(k) accounts. - Once the DB Plan assets were moved into the 401(k) accounts, I told the Zakirs that I would treat the fee as 1.25% from that point forward, rather than continuing at 2.00%. - More recently, I agreed to reduce their fee to 1.00%. However, that was a separate change, and the paperwork was not fully executed until recently. Please see whether you can determine: 1. The exact date the DB Plan terminated or distributed its assets into the two 401(k) accounts. 2. The fee charged to each account before and after that date. 3. The difference between what was actually charged at 2.00% and what would have been charged at 1.25% from the DB Plan distribution date through the effective date of the new 1.00% fee agreement. 4. The dates the 1.00% fee-change paperwork was originally sent, partially signed, followed up on and ultimately completed. The signed agreement may technically have supported the 2.00% fee, but I told them I would look back and determine what the adjustment would have been using 1.25% after the DB Plan ended. I want the analysis to clearly separate that potential adjustment from the later reduction to 1.00%. Once we have the timeline and numbers laid out cleanly, I can determine what adjustment, if any, is appropriate and respond to them with a factual and well-supported explanation. **2. "THE TAX CENTER" FOR THE PORTAL** Take a look at this when you have a chance: Perplexity Tax Workbook (https://www.perplexity.ai/computer/a/963be9c3-56bf-421d-809c-0e49c70300ee) (You probably cant see it via the HTML, so the workbook, created by AI is also attached) It took me only a couple of minutes to create. I am not sure whether you will be able to access the Perplexity link, so I also attached the workbook. This made me think that we could have a section in the portal called **"The Tax Center."** It could house the applicable tax tables and reference information for each year, with the current year displayed prominently and prior years archived for reference. It does not need to be overly complicated. It could simply be a clean, centralized place where the advisors can quickly access the annual tax tables without having to search for them elsewhere. Please give some thought to how this could fit into the portal, how it would be updated annually and how we would identify the applicable tax year and last-updated date. **3. SUPABASE ACCESS** I still never received working access to the Triumph organization in Supabase. I found the earlier invitation and created my account, but the invitation to join the organization had already expired. My Supabase account is active; I just need you to resend the invitation to the correct organization or workspace. The Zakir fee review is the most important of these items. The Tax Center can be added to the portal roadmap, and the Supabase invitation should hopefully be a quick fix. --- **Derek N. Eichenwald — 8:13 AM ET** All good, I just referenced your folder on Box.... No kidding, works great.... --- **JT — 8:16 AM ET** Ill get to Supabase as soon as I can man. Theres nothing earth shattering to uncover in there right away. I have to remove Tim I think he is tied to the account when I was asked to add him. Ill get it figured out. --- **JT — 8:19 AM ET** Please read this again. This is brand new. I build out your entire client folder id structure, architecture etcetera. --- **JT — 8:48 AM ET** Where do you want me to save the Zakirs information when I have it ready? --- **JT — 2:44 PM ET** (forward of JT's 2:41 PM group-chat post, attachment: 2026-09-04_Zakir Fee History & Options 1.xlsx) [Forwarded: "Your understanding, checked against the historical record" — see the group-chat raw file for the full text.]
