Derek asks again for the Supabase invite, how to share a Claude project, and whether his MBTC Dividend Model build ran; JT answers with the org, GitHub, and PII rules

Derek 1:1 on Teams: Supabase invite, Claude sharing, MBTC scripts — 2026-09-03

Twelve messages between 3:23 and 8:01 PM ET, starting during the weekly's audio troubleshooting and continuing through the evening. Derek types in capitals and pasted a Claude Code command block; attribution is by display name. The 7:58 to 8:01 PM exchange was added by the 2026-09-04 sweep.

Summary

  • Derek, 4:28 PM: resend the Supabase organization invite (the same ask as in the 3 PM meeting); which email should he use to share a Claude project with JT; and here is "the Claude code", a command that copies an "MBTC DIVIDEND MODEL CLIENT INCOME" workbook into a source folder, runs build_income.py, build_perf.py, and build_deck.py, recalculates two output workbooks (a Client Income Illustration and a Performance Track Record), and prints three "rebuild" checks against expected values.
  • JT, 4:30 PM: will send the Supabase invite; he needs to look at user allocations first because Tim G appears to hold the other seat in the subscription, so JT will remove Tim's access and reallocate the seat to Derek.
  • JT gave his Claude account email and asked whether Derek uses his TCM address with Claude; Derek does, could not share to JT's personal address, asked whether JT's TCM address can be linked, and asked again whether the code worked.
  • JT, 5:12 PM: Claude Projects share only inside a Claude Team organization, so no email works until Derek adds JT to his org, which is Derek's call; if added, Derek can share specific projects. What Derek pasted is the command, not the result; look under the block, approve the Allow button if it is waiting, and send what it printed. The cleaner route for the code is a private repo in the Triumph-Capital-Management GitHub org that JT clones and pushes fixes back to by pull request. The workbook goes in the repo only if it has no client PII and the repo is private; otherwise it belongs in Box. If GitHub is a hassle, send the three scripts and the workbook as files.
  • JT, 5:15 PM: the Supabase invite comes later tonight or first thing in the morning, after he disables Tim's user without breaking the Kesii Console sandbox build, which he wants to keep live to reuse its tools.
  • Derek, 7:58 PM: asks a third time in one day for the Supabase invite, and gives the reason it failed — he did receive one at 2 PM but it had expired by the time he opened it.
  • JT, 8:01 PM: confirms he will send it, that clearing a license is still the blocker, and that he will look tonight when he is home or in the morning. Derek, 8:01 PM: "OKAY".

Decisions

  • JT: the second Supabase seat moves from Tim G's user to Derek; the Kesii sandbox stays live.
  • JT: Derek's scripts should live in a private repo in the firm's GitHub org; any workbook with client personal information stays in Box.
  • Derek: whether to add JT to his Claude Team org is Derek's call; not decided in the chat.

They asked me for

  • Derek: resend the Supabase org invite. Asked three times on 2026-09-03 — in the 3 PM meeting, on Teams at 4:28 PM, and again at 7:58 PM. Status: open at the window's end, promised for that night or the morning of 2026-09-04. The 2 PM invite Derek received had expired before he opened it, so the resend needs to reach him while it is still valid.
  • Derek: the email to use to share a Claude project. Status: answered; it depends on his org membership decision.
  • Derek: did the code work. Status: turned back to him; JT needs the printed output.

I asked them for

  • Derek: send what Claude printed under the command block.
  • Derek: push the scripts to a private repo in the Triumph-Capital-Management GitHub org, or send the three scripts and the workbook as files.
  • Derek: confirm the MBTC workbook holds no client PII before it goes anywhere near GitHub.

Concerns and frustrations raised

  • Derek: the sharing attempt failed and he is not sure the build ran ("DID THAT CODE WORK ABOVE").
  • JT: reallocating the Supabase seat must not break the Kesii sandbox.

What they are focused on

  • Derek: an MBTC Dividend Model deliverable built with Claude Code: a client income illustration, a performance track record, and a deck, produced from one workbook by three scripts.
  • JT: getting Derek's build into a form JT can work on (GitHub) without moving client data into the wrong system.

Doable / not doable / needs a decision

  • Supabase invite → doable tonight or 2026-09-04 morning; the seat reallocation from Tim G is the prerequisite.
  • Sharing Claude Projects → not doable across organizations; needs Derek's decision to add JT to his Claude Team org.
  • Working on Derek's scripts → doable through a private GitHub repo or plain files; the workbook's PII status decides where it lives.

Action items

Mine

  • Disable Tim G's Supabase user without breaking the Kesii sandbox, reallocate the seat, and resend Derek's org invite — target 2026-09-04 morning; still open and re-confirmed to Derek at 8:01 PM on 2026-09-03 — (Notion: not pushed)
  • Once Derek's scripts arrive (repo or files), set them up locally and review the build — after Derek sends — (Notion: not pushed)

Theirs

  • Derek: send the printed output of the Claude Code command — no date
  • Derek: decide whether to add JT to his Claude Team org — no date
  • Derek: push the scripts to a private repo in the firm's GitHub org, or send the three scripts and the workbook as files — no date

Suggestions for me

  • Derek's asks stack: the Supabase invite was asked three times on 2026-09-03 — in the meeting, at 4:28 PM, and again at 7:58 PM. Send it before anything else on 2026-09-04.
  • The first invite expired unopened. Tell Derek when the resend goes out so he opens it in time, rather than only sending it.
  • Give him one concrete next step at a time; the 5:12 PM message carried three routes and a caveat, and his only reply that evening was to re-ask for the Supabase invite — none of the GitHub, org, or output questions came back.
  • The MBTC Dividend Model build is Derek's own project with Claude Code; it is a candidate for the "one more tool" he wants advisors to see, but only after the workbook's PII status is settled.

Notable quotes

"RESEND ME THE SUPABASE INVITE FOR THE ORG, AND ALSO, IF I WANT TO SHARE A PROJECT WITH YOU I MADE IN CLAUDE, WHAT EMAIL ADDRESS SHOULD I USE?" — Derek "What you pasted is the command Claude ran, not the result." — JT "If it holds any client personal information, it belongs in Box, not GitHub, which is why sending the workbook separately is the safer default." — JT "CAN YOU RESEND ME THE INVITE TO SUBABASE, I GOT ONE AT 2 PM TODAY BUT IT EXPIRED" — Derek, 7:58 PM "I will. I need to clear a license first. See above. I’ll try looking tonight when I’m home or in the AM." — JT, 8:01 PM
